One of our greatest joys is seeing our puppies bring comfort to others.

Many Standard Goldendoodles possess the calm, affectionate temperament that makes them wonderful therapy dog candidates.

Their size also makes them especially well-suited for providing comfort through close physical contact, whether they're resting beside someone in a hospital room, visiting a nursing home, or offering gentle companionship during a difficult season.

Well-Suited for Deep Pressure Therapy and Mobility Work

Because of their size and structure, Standard Goldendoodles may be better suited than smaller Goldendoodles for certain types of service work.

Some go on to assist with tasks that involve mobility support or Deep Pressure Therapy (DPT), where a dog's weight can provide calming, comforting pressure for individuals with conditions such as anxiety, PTSD, or autism.

Not every Standard Goldendoodle is a service dog candidate, and specialized training is always essential. However, their size gives them the versatility to perform tasks that may not be possible for smaller dogs.

Grooming Is Part of the Commitment

Like all Goldendoodles, Standards require regular grooming.

Routine brushing at home and professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks helps keep their coat healthy and comfortable.

Whether a Goldendoodle is Mini, Medium, or Standard, proper grooming is part of responsible ownership.

Our decision to focus on Standard Goldendoodles wasn't made because we believe they're better than every other size.

Standard Goldendoodles give us the opportunity to pursue that mission with confidence.
