At Dacus Doodles, the foundation of every litter begins with our parent dogs. Our Goldendoodle moms and studs are carefully selected for temperament, health, structure, trainability, and the qualities we want to pass along to future generations.
Our parent dogs aren't kennel dogs. They are cherished members of our families, living with Tammy in Montgomery and Carli in Beaumont, Texas.
Before entering our breeding program, our dogs complete comprehensive health testing appropriate for our program, including genetic testing and OFA evaluations. But health testing is only part of the picture. We also consider temperament, structure, personality, and how two dogs complement one another when planning each pairing.
Why Our Parent Dogs Matter
A beautiful Goldendoodle starts with much more than coat color. When planning a litter, we look carefully at the strengths of both parents and consider temperament, health, structure, trainability, size, coat traits, and the goals of the pairing.
Our goal is to raise confident, well-rounded Standard Goldendoodles that can thrive as beloved family companions, therapy prospects, and, when appropriately selected and trained, working or service dog prospects.

Two Homes. One Breeding Program.
Dacus Doodles is a mother-daughter breeding program with two Texas locations in Montgomery and Beaumont. Our dogs live with us as members of our families, and Tammy and Carli work together when planning pairings and making decisions for the future of our program.
Having two homes doesn't mean two different standards. Every Dacus Doodles breeding dog is held to the same expectations for health, temperament, structure, and quality, regardless of which home they live in.
