Our cowhide leather leashes have two layers of cowhide sewn together. One side is the “pretty” cowhide and the other side is a plain cowhide that will vary in color.

Will metal hardware discolor or tarnish?
The metal is plated with the colors (rose gold, gold, and silver), some wear and scratching is expected over time. As with any metal, it will begin to tarnish or rust if exposed to prolonged wear.
